The consortium of Germany-based Planning Engineers Scherr+Klimke, Logistics Investor Log4Real, UBF.B, and Mexico-based Conctructors COPSA is the winner of AUDI Mexico’s tender for the new logistics centre in Puebla. The investment comprises four large warehouses, a container yard, and the corresponding infrastructure. Beyond this, an operating period of 15 years is part of the contract. After seven months of intensive cooperation with Audi AG, Ingolstadt, Scherr+Klimke submitted the Comprehensive Preliminary Design for the Supplier Park to the investor Grupo O´Donnell de México. On May 14th 2014, Audi México broke ground on the Supplier Park. Located just south of the Audi plant, the new facility is scheduled to begin operation in early 2015. Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were Audi Board Member for Procurement, Dr. Bernd Martens, Puebla Governor, Rafael Morena Valle Rosas, and David O´Donnell, CEO of the O´Donnell Group.
